Rooman Quantix ("Quantix", "we", "us") is a data analytics workspace operated by Rooman Technologies Pvt. Ltd., India. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit roomanquantix.com or use the Rooman Quantix application, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using Rooman Quantix you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form), and, for organizations, the organization's name and branding.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form or the in-app feedback form.
- Your data: files, spreadsheets and database or app connections you import, and the reports, dashboards, charts and questions you create from them ("Customer Data").
Information collected automatically
- Usage and security logs: sign-in times, actions taken in the workspace, IP address, browser and device type. We use these to keep accounts secure, show organization admins how their workspace is used, and fix problems.

2. How we use information
- To create and run your account and workspace, and to provide the features you use.
- To process your data only to give you the results you ask for (cleaning, analysis, charts, forecasts, answers from Ask BRO).
- To send service emails, such as sign-up confirmation, password resets, invitations and important changes.
- To answer your questions and feedback.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
- To understand overall usage and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information or your Customer Data, and we do not use your Customer Data to advertise to you.
3. Ask BRO and AI processing
When you ask Ask BRO a question, your question and the parts of your workspace needed to answer it (for example column names, summaries and computed results) may be sent to our AI service provider, Anthropic, to produce the answer. Calculations on your data are run by Rooman Quantix itself. Our provider processes this information only to return the answer to us and does not use it to train its models under our commercial terms.
4. Sharing information
We share information only:
- Within your organization: admins of an organization can see its members, their activity and the data shared in its workspace.
- When you share: if you publish or share a dashboard or report link, anyone with that link can see what you shared.
- With service providers who help us run Rooman Quantix (hosting, email delivery, AI processing), under obligations to protect it.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users or Rooman Technologies.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember which workspace you are using. The site may also store simple preferences (such as layout choices) in your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when you visit.
6. Data storage and security
Your information is stored on servers operated by or for Rooman Technologies. Each organization's data is kept in its own isolated workspace, access is controlled by roles and permissions, passwords are hashed, and connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects you.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your account information and Customer Data while your account is active. When you delete data or your account, we remove it from the live service, and backups are overwritten in the normal course of operations. We may keep limited records longer where the law requires it.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, or raise a concern. You can update most account details in your profile. For anything else, write to us through the Contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Children
Rooman Quantix is not intended for children under 18 without the involvement of a parent, guardian or educational institution, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information otherwise.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
